Financial Disclaimer
Last updated: September 9, 2026
PowerPayoff provides self-directed planning tools. It does not replace information from Your financial institution or advice from a qualified professional.
Informational and Planning Purposes Only
PowerPayoff provides software that helps You organize financial information and explore hypothetical debt-payment scenarios. Information made available through the website, application, emails, demonstrations, examples, and other PowerPayoff materials is provided for general informational and planning purposes only.
PowerPayoff does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, credit-counseling, or debt-settlement advice. Trevor Heaney and PowerPayoff are not acting as Your financial adviser, investment adviser, fiduciary, creditor, credit counselor, debt-management provider, or debt-settlement provider. Using PowerPayoff does not create a professional, advisory, fiduciary, or creditor-client relationship.
Estimates and Simplified Assumptions
Balances, available-cash figures, annual percentage rates, statement dates, due dates, minimum payments, payoff schedules, payoff order, projected interest, estimated savings, utilization, and other outputs may be based on information supplied by You, information received from third-party providers, and simplified mathematical assumptions.
Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, a projection may assume that balances, interest rates, payment amounts, and payment frequency remain constant; that payments and interest are applied monthly; and that no new transactions, fees, penalties, credits, refunds, or promotional-rate changes occur. When an actual APR is unavailable, PowerPayoff may clearly label and use a placeholder APR. Estimated minimum payments use a simplified formula and may differ materially from an issuer's required minimum payment.
Financial institutions may calculate or apply interest and payments differently. Actual outcomes may be affected by:
- new purchases, balance transfers, cash advances, refunds, credits, and payments;
- daily or other compounding methods and the timing or allocation of payments;
- variable, penalty, promotional, or deferred-interest rates;
- annual, late, transaction, balance-transfer, cash-advance, or other fees;
- issuer-specific minimum-payment rules, grace periods, and statement practices;
- pending transactions, posting delays, incomplete data, provider outages, and data-entry errors; and
- changes made by You, an issuer, a creditor, or another third party.
As a result, PowerPayoff estimates may differ from an account statement, creditor quote, or actual payoff result and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or out of date.
No Payment or Creditor Services
PowerPayoff does not initiate, schedule, process, or guarantee payments; transfer or hold money from linked financial accounts; contact or negotiate with creditors; obtain concessions from creditors; modify the terms of any debt; or confirm that a payment will satisfy an amount due. You make payments directly through Your financial institution or another payment method You choose.
Verify Before Acting
You are solely responsible for Your financial decisions and for making complete, accurate, and timely payments. Before acting on information shown by PowerPayoff, verify the current balance, APR, required minimum payment, statement-close date, payment-due date, payoff amount, and payment instructions directly with the applicable financial institution. Continue to comply with Your account agreements and required payment obligations even if PowerPayoff displays different information or is unavailable.
Consider consulting a qualified financial, tax, legal, accounting, credit-counseling, or other professional who can evaluate Your individual circumstances. If You are experiencing financial hardship, contact Your creditor or an appropriately qualified adviser about the options that may be available to You.
No Guaranteed Results
PowerPayoff does not promise or guarantee that You will reduce or eliminate debt, avoid interest or fees, meet a payoff date, save a particular amount, improve a credit score, qualify for credit, or achieve any other financial result. A strategy that produces a lower estimate under a particular set of assumptions may not produce that result in actual use.
Examples, demonstrations, projections, and testimonials illustrate individual or hypothetical circumstances. They are not promises, guarantees, or statements of what every user should expect. Any material limitations or generally expected results applicable to a particular marketing claim should be read together with that claim.
Third-Party Information
PowerPayoff may receive or display information from financial institutions and other third parties. PowerPayoff does not control those sources and cannot guarantee that third-party information will be complete, current, or error-free. A reference or link to a third party does not make that party responsible for PowerPayoff's calculations and does not make PowerPayoff responsible for the third party's products, services, or decisions.
